1964 initiated kidney failure treatment by using hemodialysis machine for the first time in Thailand

1964 Kidney failure was initiated the new treatment by using hemodialysis machine for the first time in Thailand (Professor Visit Sitpreecha) at Jongkolnee Wattanawong Building.

Jongkolnee Wattanawong BuildingHSH Jongkolnee Wattanawong had wishes to build a surgery building for King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in order to use as a place to treat patient and as a classroom of surgical disease on the occasion of a century of Wattanawong Lineage and had donated themoney from "Jongkolnee foundation" to build "Jongkolnee Wattanawong" building.

Moreover, dialysis laboratory for kidney disease patient. The construction budget was from HSH Jongkolnee Wattanwong, donor and Thai Red Cross Society in total 6, 915, 300 Bath. King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit went to the building opening ceremony on 6 March 1965.
