1946 Royal wishes to create more doctor, the foundation of Faculty of Medicine,Chulalongkorn University

1945 The end of WW II during World War (1939-1945)
Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital gave aid to wounded soldiers by respecting the commitment of Red Cross Society saying that we shall give aid to any injured with neutrality which consequently number of doctor should be increased.

23 April 1946 King Ananda Mahidol (King RamaVIII) granted degree of Medicine Program at Medical University and wish the government to create more doctor in order to response to the need of country and this is the foundation of the second Medical school in the following year.

“I have a desire that Medical University could create more doctor
to response to the need of our country”
