1943 Establishment of Medical University

7 February 1943 Medical University was established
Faculty of Medicine and Siriraj Hospital, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacology and Faculty of Veterinary Science were under Chulalongkorn University and later on transferred to be under Medical University under Ministry of Public Health.

Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital under Chulalongkorn University changed its name to Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital under Medical University during that period.

Medical University's seal "Treat others in the way you want to be treated" (อตฺตานํ อุปมํ กเร)
still used as motto up to the establishment of Mahidol University.
